Fantastic Fisticuffs at Fox Preview?

While I have little context or comment to add to Devin Faraci's scorching Fox publicist beatdown over at CHUD, his dispatch from the circus that was last week's all-media screening of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer says a lot about the cosmic vagaries of studio/press relations. Which is old, sad news in many regards but one: Faraci wrote later that a journalist who attended the screening was "punched in the face by a member of the audience after the movie."

Now this is the show I wanna see -- easily the only thing that would coax me into a room of giveaway-winners and clogged-pore fanboys whose rabid taste for comics adaptations defers only to their noses for critics' blood. Someone must have seen or heard something -- these types of contretemps always conclude with a "POW!" or "THWACK!", followed by some prismatic starburst -- and naturally Faraci (and I) wants to hear from the mystery journalist whom the rumor mill has so ignominiously thrust to the fore.

Did anybody witness or, more directly, suffer this indignity? Please, please come forward with your story and let the healing begin.
