Giamatti Hijacks BAM, Art Quirk Ensues

The Reeler got a glimpse Monday of the program actor Paul Giamatti was invited to contribute to this summer's appropriately titled "Paul Giamatti Selects" series at BAM, and if variety is the spice of life, then this dish had better come with some ice water:

--Dr. Strangelove, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
--Dawn of the Dead (1978, introduced by producer Richard Rubenstein)
--Brewster McCloud
--The Big Clock
--Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
--Seconds
--The Seventh Victim

The series runs Aug. 1 - Sept. 11, with Brooklyn resident (and, evidently, BAM Cinema Club chair) Giamatti planning a visit or two to help make sense of it all. We'll bring you specific dates and program information on our Events Calendar as the series approaches.
